Hi… And welcome. My name is Martin Pedersen, I’m a danish Copenhagen-based film composer.

I make music for feature films, TV shows, documentaries and ocassionally commercials.

Telling a good story is what it’s all about. And I love the collaborative process between the director, editor, sound designer and composer. Sharing thoughts and feedback. Finding the musical palette of sounds and instruments, giving the film it’s own personality and feel.

My work includes the scores for the feature film ‘What Will People Say’ (2019) by director Iram Haq – Selected as Norway’s official Oscar nominee for ‘Best Foreign Language Film. And the TV-series ‘Hooligan’ S1 (2023) Winner of TV Prisen 2024 ‘Best Short Fiction Series’.

In 2017-2019 I was gratefully awarded and funded by the Danish Arts Foundation to continue my artistic work.
